National WMA Project for 2024-2025
The Women’s Missionary Auxiliary is excited to announce our 2024-2025 Project, the BMA Bible Institute of Zambia and our Missionary Mickeal Quillman and his family. This project will provide the needed land, building, water and electricity the Quillman’s will use to minister to the local villiages. Many villiagers are now walking a days journey to be able to study, train and worship. It remains a guiding principle of the WMA to assist the churches of the BMA to carry the gospel to every corner of the world. Through this project we aim to make a tangible and eternal difference in the lives of those who need it most ensuring hope for all that may be touched through this ministry. National WMA Project for 2023-2024
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the 2023 national WMA project. We were able to raise $45,380 to help Daniel Springs buy a generator to keep the camp running in all weather. This year, we had 3 worthy nominations for our project. The Jeevan Prakash School in Gulbarga India has been chosen as our 2024 national project.
The school is in great need of renovations. The school’s almost 1000 students and 40 staff members share just 2 toilets. They have no source for clean drinking water at this time. There are some walls in the school that need to be reinforced. The youngest children meet in the lower levels of the school with very little ventilation. There are plans to adjust the roof lines to draw the hot air out of the building with the help of fans added to classrooms. In addition to improvements to the building, the desks and furniture is also in need of updating.
I hope we can all work together to raise money for this worthy cause. Last year was a great success for our national camp. This year we can share the love of Jesus and help children across the world with a better, safe school facility. The Goal has been set high, $75,000!
